Carl Barks and Floyd Gottfredsson in conversation

In 1989 I was 12 years old, and I was on a vacation with my family to the USA. I naturally bought some comic books while there, one of which was a Gladstone Mickey Mouse magazine, containing a classic Floyd Gottfredsson-story.

I read it a few times, but then it was filed in a box alongside other comic books for many years, until I picked it out last year. The story was still good, but what grasped my eye then was a full 2-page ad for a luxury edition Micke Muse book (see below):

I went on ebay, and found at least one book that was a bit less pricy than most of them, and am now the owner om book no. 1892 of a total of 3000 published. Hand signed by Gottfredsson and Barks.

A special feature of the book, one which I would like to share with the readers of this blog, was a small vinyl disk, containing a few minutes of a conversation between Gottfredsson and Barks.

The audio quality of my digital rendition is not great, but I believe it is audible. Klick the youtube video below to hear them discuss their own favourite Mouse/Duck stories.
